Temples Tour

Amazing 3 Temples

Pick up: 0800 am

Duration: about 8 hours.

  • Hotel pick up by either car or minibus with the local English speaking guide
  • Wat Tumprayanakarat is the First temple to visit. It was built into a cave that opens out at the bottom of a cliff face. The monks use this temple to practice meditation.
  • The second temple you will visit is Wat Bang Riang. There is a big Pagoda that home a relic of the Lord Buddha, the God of Mercy statue is located in the elegant beside a pagoda.
  • Stop for a lunch of Thai menu set.
  • Wat Suwan Khuha is the last temple to visit. Here is one of the oldest temple in Phang nga Province, You will see one of big reclining Buddha statue is placed in the cave. Around the cave it’s house many monkeys.
  • Finally it’s time for a break and a swim in the Sranang Manorah waterfalls.
At the Temple, Shoulders and knees must be covered, so long sleeved T-shirt and long trousers are required.

Lake Tour

  • Upon arrival at Chiewlan Lake you will board the long tail boat and enjoy taking in the many stunning sights.
  • Explore the Pakarang Cave (coral cave) by feet and be simply amazed by the natural beauty of the rock formations, stalagmites, stalactites. On the way to the cave there is the chance to see many animals, birds and reptiles.
  • A Thai lunch will be served to you at the Bamboo Raft House.

  • Kuraburi pier is approximately 1 hour from your hotel and the speedboat journey out to Surin Islands will take a further 1 hour. In only 2 hours you will be ready to witness some of the best snorkeling in the world.
  • Get ready with your snorkel, mask and fins but first take a minute or so to listen carefully to your tour guide about the do’s and don’ts that apply here on the Surin Islands. It is a National Park here and in order to maintain and preserve the beauty here it is imperative that you adhere to these rules. Not only that but they are there for your own safety as well.
  • Set about venturing out around the island, exploring the beauty of the un-spoilt coral reefs. The shallow, calm and clear water here is exceptional.
  • Visit the Sea Gypsy Village or the Morgan People and witness how they live their old traditional ways of living. As an added bonus you can also see the Indian wooden sculpture that is considered sacred.
After all of this it is time for a well-earned lunch at Surin National Park and some time to relax and take in the beautiful scenery. There is one more snorkeling spot for those with enough energy then it is time to head back to Kuraburi pier.
